1. About these Terms
These Terms explain how you may use the LIFT app (LIFT at Home, and LIFT Music). By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Who may use the app
You must be at least 18 to create an account or to accept these Terms.
If you are using the app at work (for example, in a school, care home, or support service), you confirm you are allowed to do so on behalf of your organisation.
3. Your licence to use the app
We give you a non exclusive, non transferable licence to use the app for your own use.
- LIFT at Home: for personal, non commercial use.
- LIFT Music: for use within your organisation for your staff and participants, in line with the licence purchased.
You must not copy, sell, or distribute the app or any part of it.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Keep login details secure
- Use the app safely and sensibly
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the software
- Not upload anything harmful
- Respect all copyright in the music and software
If you enter names or codes for participants, you must do so in a lawful and responsible way.
5. Our responsibilities
We aim to keep the app reliable and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may update the app from time to time for security, performance, or new features.
6. Payments and renewals
If you pay for the app:
- Prices and billing terms are shown at the point of purchase
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- Refunds follow Apple’s App Store policies (for LIFT at Home) or your contract/invoice (for LIFT Music)
7. Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data. It forms part of these Terms.

8. Ending your access
You may stop using the app at any time.
We may suspend or stop access if:
- You breach these Terms
- Your organisation’s licence expires (for LIFT Music)
- You do anything unlawful or harmful in the app
9. Liability
The app is provided “as is”.
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for:
- Loss of data
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Any issues caused by devices, networks, or third party services
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under UK consumer law.
10. Intellectual property
All rights in the app, code, music, sounds, and materials belong to Headsoup Ltd.
You do not own the app; you are only licensed to use it.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make a significant change, we will notify you by email, in the app, or on our website. Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
